This just in from Women's Wear Daily: Forever 21, the trendy/affordable chain beloved of tweens, teens and 20somethings, is "translating its warp-speed runway-to-rack formula to beauty" with the launch of its Love & Beauty line of cosmetics.
Can't find a launch date yet, but I've heard rumors it could be by the end of the year.
Also from WWD: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are breaking into high-end jewelry design via a collection of gold and silver pieces called The Protector. Inspired by the snake (!), it will be sold in Asprey stores in New York Beverly Hills, London, Tokyo and Dubai — which should tell you something about the price tags!
Prices start at $525 for a suilver baby spoon with a serpent handle. A baby born with a silver (serpent) spoon in its mouth? Sounds creepy to me!
